i took french for ... 6 years .... through junior high and high school....but now, i have completely forgotten everything that i have learned ... haha... to learn french, you really have to be in that environment.... i remember going to quebec for a summer, i think my french was at its best at the end of that trip ... the learning process is easier when you are immersed in that certain language. it\'s the same with english, try to be around people who speak english to you, don\'t just hang around your chinese friends.... make some friends who can help you with another language.

I agree with the point which environment plays a big role in learning a new language. We will be
much more comfortable to speak English if we do speak more.
