Monitor weather conditions...Listen for updated statements.<br /><br /><br /><br />A low pressure system currently affecting southeastern Saskatchewan has spread snow into southwestern Manitoba this morning. As this system moves eastward snow will slowly spread into remaining southern Manitoba later this afternoon. The main area of snow will affect the Red River Valley including Winnipeg tonight and Tuesday morning. This weather system is expected to give generally near 10 cm of snow, however locally higher amounts are possible in southwestern areas of Manitoba. The main problem will be associated with blowing snow and reduced visibilities in open areas tonight and Tuesday morning as strong winds develop.<br /><br />Travellers should be prepared for poor driving conditions across southern Manitoba later today, tonight and Tuesday.
