James Blunt will be appearing with special guests Luke Doucet and The White Falcon on Monday, November 24, 2008 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
All the Lost Souls is the follow-up to James Blunt's 2005 debut release, Back to Bedlam, which sold in excess of 11 million copies worldwide (including 700,000 in Canada), was No. 1 in 18 countries, Top 10 in 35 countries and received five Grammy nominations.
All the Lost Souls was recorded in Los Angeles with Back to Bedlam producer Tom Rothrock, and features Blunt's touring band. The 10-song cycle about life and death, shows tremendous growth from Back to Bedlam, which Blunt describes as "a very honest, slightly naïve collection of thoughts, emotions and experience. I wrote them without any knowledge that anyone would hear them." All the Lost Souls opens with the layered single "1973," a nostalgic look back at sharing great times with friends. Songs such as "One of the Brightest Stars" and "Annie" deal with the vagaries and distortions that fame can bring. "Carry You Home" and "I'll Take Everything" tackle our fragile mortality, while "I Really Want You" and "Same Mistake" showcase Blunt at his most vulnerable.
If you missed James Blunt at his last Winnipeg performance, now's your chance to see him live at the MTS Centre with special guests Luke Doucet and The White Falcon.
