Reporting to the department Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing improved manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation to enhance the efficiency and productivity of Operations. Key responsibilities include implementing continuous improvement projects, developing and implementing manufacturing documents and system metrics, establishing visibility boards, prototyping, and coordinating schedules with Planning. Responsibilities also include tooling and fixture design, working with CNC machinery and leading improvement teams.
The Manufacturing Engineer is an energetic, proactive problem solver with excellent organization, motivation and leadership skills. With a background in manufacturing process improvement, the Engineer is familiar with ERP software, production planning, Lean methodologies and Cell manufacturing. Project management and team leadership skills are applied daily.
